All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This document outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, charges, and your responsibilities related to the rental. In cases of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle requires:
- To rent a vehicle in Stratford-upon-Avon, drivers must be at least 21 years old, although age limits may differ based on the vehicle type, with potential extra fees for those under 25. A valid driving licence that corresponds with the vehicle category is required, along with identification and proof of your current address. Booking and Payment Process

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities or purposes. This includes racing, off-road driving, or engaging in hazardous maneuvers. Transporting dangerous materials is prohibited. The vehicle should not be sub-let or driven by unauthorized individuals. Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, the vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not designed for, nor should passenger or weight limits be exceeded. Operating the vehicle outside of agreed geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and charges.
Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire Stratford-upon-Avon will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the rental amount paid in the prior 12 months. This limitation does not apply to claims related to death or personal injury due to negligence or fraudulent actions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts in this region.
